Joy Worley Davis received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1997. She has performed in many operas and operettas (light operas) as a coloratura soprano in such roles as “Gretel” in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Blonde in Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio, and “Casilda” in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Gondoliers She competed in many vocal competitions and received awards along the way. Mrs. Davis has also held a position as the Worship Leader at Bethany Baptist Church in Roseville, MN and periodic worship leader at Meadow Creek Church in Andover. She has performed numerous times as a soloist as well as with the trio “Tribute” at the annual Christmas concert at Meadow Creek Church and throughout the year. She has experience performing classical music and musical theater along with contemporary Christian, country and pop. She has taught elementary music / choir at Grace Fellowship Cottage Classes in Brooklyn Park and done vocal coaching and voice lessons along the way. Mrs. Davis currently lives in Ham Lake, MN with her husband, 3 daughters, that she homeschools, and 3 dogs.
